Glen Turner Furniture Studio offers a range of furniture manufacturing services from a full service which covers the design stage all the way through to delivery. However, if you already have a design, this can be followed. If you have your own timber, it can be used. If you need some timber cut, it can be done. If you need a new bench top, it will be made to fit your existing bench. Whether it is a small job or a large one, Glen Turner Furniture Studio can do it. Below is a list of the types of services offered, however, others may also be available.

Furniture Design

• If you have an idea or don't even have much of an idea of what you want, the Studio will work with you to develop exactly what you want.
• Pieces can be made to fit exactly into a space and they will come and measure up to ensure the perfect fit.
• The Studio will guide you through the design stage, offering their expert advice with things such as:
  • What size table is needed to seat the people required?
  • What is the appropriate height for a desk to meet your requirements?
  • What is the right height for a bed to suit me and my mattress?

Make pieces from existing designs with or without adjustments

If you have found a piece of furniture you like elsewhere but it isn't quite right, eg. It's not the right size or the wrong colour, the Studio will re-design the piece and make the changes needed.

Timber Selection

• The Studio sources timber from a range of suppliers in Victoria and interstate.
• They will work with you to select the appropriate timber for your piece of furniture, considering things such as:
  • Is the timber strong enough for the task?
  • Is the colour & grain what you are looking for?

Modifications of existing pieces

• If you need a piece of furniture modified to fit a new space or a new technical device, eg. Your new big TV, the Studio can modify your furniture

Repairs and fixing of existing furniture

• If you have an old table that needs sanding back and re-polishing, this can be done
• If you have a loved piece of furniture that is looking a bit worse for wear or needs some updating, the Studio will be able to fix it and bring it back to life

Machining services

If you have bought some timber that you would like to make something with, eg. a pet cage, cubby house, fence repair, but the timber is the wrong size and you don't have the appropriate tools, the Studio can machine your timber to your requirements, such as:
